ABS light occasionally on

The ABS light on my 1996 Celebration comes on occasionally. As the car has an OBDII socket I plugged my iCarsoft 930 in and had a look. (Although the iCarsoft doesn't list the XJS, I tell it that the car is an X300 and I get access to a number of readouts such as engine, gearbox and ABS). It told me that the front right wheel sensor was faulty. As the fault comes and goes I thought I'd check the connections and test the resistance.
The connector is on the inner wing as below. Opening up the connector and looking at the terminals they looked OK but I thought I'd still put some electrical cleaner in there and blow it through with the airline. And then I put the multimeter on the 2 connections to measure the resistance of the sensor.
As you can see, about 1.1k ohms. That led me to wondering what it should be! Does anyone know?
