Handbrake adjusters - Inboard brakes

After hours of trying I now agree with all of the wisdom I have seen on every site. I am dropping the cage. I don't have a proper lift but I have made a wooden structure that is about 8 inches thick and 6 inches wide and 18 inches long. I made it so that it attaches to my car jack. I plan to use that to drop the cage. So I am now starting to remove the exhaust, brake lines, differential to drive shaft, etc. I will see how that goes. I also have taken apart to handbrake at the drivers seat and gotten the slack that I needed. That wil be another minor project to see what is up with the slack. The cable moves smoothly now.

Take care when you do drop the cage that you support the front of the diff. The assembly is nose heavy and will tip if not held.
