Stone damage to rear sill area

Postby ianoliver57 » Sun May 15, 2022 11:16 am

The rear sill areas seem to suffer from stone damage, probably due to the design of the sill. Jaguar can provide clear patches to cover these triangular areas, but, at ridiculously expensive cost. If you go to eBay and search ‘XE stone guard’ you will find a company who will supply vinyl patches, exactly the correct shape and size, for £19.50 for the pair post free! I have just fitted them to my XE. Perfect! :D

Several members have tried these patches to good effect. There's no doubt, they should have been standard issue from new. Mike.
