Air Con Leak

I have a 1993 4.0l convertible. Can anyone tell me the recommended controller position with the hood down. In both MAN and AUTO there appears to be water leaking into the passenger footwell. The system appears to work fine (Cold) but there is never a water patch under the vehicle when standing after air con use. Could the evaporation drain be blocked and be backing up into the vents. Where is the drain?

It certainly sounds like the drain tubes are blocked. They can be accessed from underneath. The generally accepted method is to poke a wire up through them and then wait for a pint of two of foul water to hit you in the eye!
