Just wanted to say hi on the forum.

Just acquired my XE R-Sport on Thursday and what a lovely looking car it is too

I am a big fan of the old-style curvaceous Jags but I must say the design of the XE is really nice and contrasts well - plus this one's not on axle stands which will please my wife . It's just a case of getting to know what everything does now then as my old Scenic was not quite so fully equipped!! Sad in a way to see it go though as it served me well, was cheap as chips and owed me nothing but I think the right time to get rid and treat myself to something a bit special.

Off to Cheltenham later for a spin and an evening of jazz.

That's reassuring and I am sure I will too, it's a really nice blend of sport, practicality and luxury and one I will definately not be tinkering with. I have to admit my wife might have a point that it's going to be nice to drive a Jag rather than lying underneath with an angle grinder and a mouth full of rust! I don't think she has quite got over me walking underseal onto the lounge carpet yet!
