this is from an XJ12 , from 1988 , it appears to have the gearbox speedo pickup on the side, but i am fairly sure this was just blanked off in favour of my electronic pickup on the diff in my 89 car , so shouldn't be a problem unless otherwise informed
i got it for a steal on ebay , but it will be about a five hour round trip to collect, but using a company car it won't hit the wallet , just my time
it was described as being removed three years ago from the 88 car with 80k miles , not long after it had its self received a refurb , and was to be a spare for a restoration project that didn't happen , time will tell , lol
firstly , i will try a flush and new filter on my existing box, to see if that improves the symptoms , but if not i will at least have a replacement box i could get overhauled that i can get fitted , or at least swap it round and get my own refurbed, i have a few options
