Speedo Transducer for Manual

Postby V12Smig » Fri Jul 07, 2023 9:13 am

Hi guys, I have a Series III XJ V12 with a Getrag from an 85 XJS 3.6. Can someone tell me the correct part number for the speedo transducer that's fits in to the gearbox...? Or better still offer me a working example??

V12smig,

As always, just look on the Jaguar parts website. See here:

Assuming that it's just the transducer you want, I think the part no is DAC2875 (https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.co ... 6663224398) although, as you will see, that supercedes to DAC4569, neither being available new from Jaguar at the moment, although there is some new 'old stock' available on line.

Not sure how (or even if) that will work with your manual box, but if you can find one it's got to be worth a try?

Good spot Al,

There seem to be a few people advertising DAC4569 online as an available OEM part.

Hi guys, thanks for the reply, I think DAC4569 is for the V12 and 4.2 autos. These are a different diameter to the XJS manual and when you speak with these guys selling these transducers (on eBay) they can't tell you for what model its for! Just in case your interested its for this!
