Hi All,
My 1999 Nikosil lined XKR convertible suffers with oil contamination through the breather which in turn causes problems with the intake system etc.. Can anyone recommend a decent easy to fit breather filter/ catch-can to help with this. Generally the engine runs fine apart fro this issue.

Sounds to me like you have excessive crankcase pressure. You mentioned that yours is a nikasil engine - have you had a blow-by test done?

PS did you realise that you posted this in the XJS forum. Did you mean to put it in the XK8 section?

You may get a better answer if you post this on the XK forum rather than the XJS one.

Also, if you spell Nikasil correctly, you may find more information on a site or web search?
