The viscous fan on my 1986 V12 is sadly deceased. I am now thinking of replacing this with a Kenlowe fan . Has anyone done this and if so what fan do you reccomend. Help greatly appreciated. Sorry I am new to this and have just discovered where I should have posted this thread.

This might get you started

I have no experience in this at all but I'm sure someone with a V12 will add some suggestions.

i have fitted an electric fan to my V12, it was actually quite easy once i had figured out how o mount it

i did do a thread on the subject a few years back with pictures

remove all the viscous fitting parts , this will mean a modified bolt on the original engine mount ,

then mount your new electric fan to the original cowl by making some ' tangs ' in the cowl lip that let the supplied plastic mounts fix to it, i'm afraid only a picture will allow this to be understood

i will see if i can dig one out

then you will need a power supply, and thermostatic control of the fan

the electric fans are at least five times better than the viscous original
