Dry Ice Cleaning

Hi All
I am sure that many of you will have watched videos on YouTube etc.showing the results of dry ice cleaning on cars - particularly the underside / suspension etc.
A company has been recommended to me to dry ice clean the engine and engine bay on my car - and I am trying to see whether other people have any experience of such work being carried out on their beloved car.
In an ideal world - limitless funds - I would love to have the engine removed, overhauled and fully detailed. However, this is expensive and at the moment unnecessary - I have been told that my engine is strong and doesn’t need any overhauling at this stage. That will come in time - but I’ll address that need when it arises.
In the meantime I really do want to get the engine and engine bay looking as nice as possible. I don’t think that it has ever been cleaned - and I see the engine as the real heart of the character of this car so I would like to get it looking as presentable as possible. I have completely ruled out steam cleaning because of the risk of causing problems with old electrical components and circuits - but I have been assured that dry ice cleaning is 100% safe in this regard.
Does anyone have any experience of this process?
Thanks and all the best
Peter
