AJ6 Engine Paint

I've a 3.6 AJ6 and some of the paint is flaking off from the rocker cover as I am doing a bit of tidying up I would like to paint the black and possible reniew the slver stripes. I assume that this is aluminiium and therefore I was thinking that some sort of corrosion protection like alachrome, then primer + top coat. Does anyone know of a paint that I could use that would wisthstand the temperature and adhere to the surface?
