4.0 litre 1991 facelift

Ok, so what is acceptable oil consumption? The car has used 750ml over the past 600 miles or so. Should I be worried?

Clive - that does sound like quite a lot to me. Is it visibly smoky?

That's the odd point, no obvious smoke at all.
