V12 wont tick over when warm

V12 LOW LOW TICKOVER WHEN WARM
When the car is cold tickover is the normal 700rpm, during warm up this slowly drops to 500rpm and when at normal temp the revs are down to 300rpm. This often causes the engine to stall unless given throttle assitance. has anyone encountered this? or even better fixed it?

Does it respond to adjusting the idle screw on the auxilliary air valve?
