Hello,
i bought a Heritage C Type last year in UK and got the german registration also last year. Unfortunately the seller (prof. dealer) had no documentation (history) about the car only the V5 and Mot was there.
Therefor i hop to get some further information about the car. The british registration was YFJ 685, VIN 2T12762BW, engine 8L134901H.
The only thing i know about the car is that it is:
- 4,2 XJ Serie 2 engine with 3 Weber carburettors
- original gearbox with OD
- rearaxle XJ Serie 2
Heritage Cars stopped the business arounf 2003, therefore all informations about the the car will be very welcome, like
- real date of built
- former owner
- technical details
- etc. etc.
Thank you very much for every input in advance.
regards (and sorry my english)

I hope you get an answer, your car looks very nice. There are a few C Type owners who use this forum, however if you use Facebook you might like to check the JDC Historic Replica and Specials Register group on Facebook. This is an open group and the knowledge of some of the group members is outstanding. They certainly will have some details about Heritage cars and I am sure they will be able to help you.

Hello Johannes,
I can only agree with Neil, the JDC site has many "C" type owners and a couple of them race them. I suspect that they will have all the information you need. Good luck and enjoy your car.
