Realm Engineering C- & D-type Replicas

(Apologies for this being about replicas, but there doesn't seem to be a Board section on Specials.)

Has anyone had any dealings with Realm Engineering? In addition to the well-known RAM Cobra, they produce C- and D-type and XKSS replicas in full kit or partially-built forms using Series XJ6 running gear and fibreglass bodies.

I'm interested in their 'Heritage C-type' kit and phoned them early last month. I had a fairly brief conversation with a chap (didn't get his name) who agreed with my wish that I visit their premises to look at the operation and discuss requirements - indeed, he recommended that all potential purchasers do this - and said I should e-mail. I've done so twice, and left a telephone message, but no reply so far. Frustrating - particularly as their products seem so good looking (there's film on YouTube of a car being tested by its builder) and I can't run to anything by Lynx, Proteus or Suffolk.

It would be interesting to see what, if any, experience others within the Club have had.

Hello Neil,
I am aware that your post is now quite old but I was wondering if you ever got any ware with your request for details on the "C" type?
Although I currently have a Suffolk SS100, I too am interested in a "C" type. As a point of info. please feel free to put any further posts on the "new" replicas BB
