I need to remove this rear light from the bonnet and have removed the bolts but there is one remaining under the rear bonnet catch?

i think you mean ' boot ' , or ' trunk ' if in the good old U S of A
but to answer your question
i'm afraid its probably corroded to the captive nut on the back, you can try using some WD40 or such like , and leave it for an hour or so , and then try again , personally i use a product called Plusgas , it has active enzymes that actually eat away the rust only leaving good metal , WD40 is actually only a water dispersant, but is ok for general use
then its a case of getting mean with it
but be careful , as it will probably snap off the head of the bolt, but that might be your only way to remove
when doing mine , i replaced the nasty bolts with stainless allen bolts, non corrosive and you can get better torque when tightening with an allen key ,
as an alternative, remove the complete painted rear section that its bolted to
its about eight small nuts on the inside of the boot lid , the whole plinth will come away , and then remove the lighting section from that, more work , but possibly easier in the end

Re: How to remove this from the bonnet?
The only way I found to remove that bolt it was to take the whole of that rear section off which then gave easy access to all the bolts securing the lights and the center piece. However I also had a couple of bolts on that light section that needed a bit of persuading to move and was doing some other work on it so it was worth the extra time to remove.
Here is a picture of one of those sections removed (without the central light piece or the chrome trim piece) from the back so you can see where it bolts on.

Here is a picture of where the bolts go through on the reverse of the boot lid. You need to remove a plastic cover to get access to some of them and the bullet connector light connections.
