Barratts had some on their stand last year and they also do the 4 light conversion for all models of XJS. You could also advertise for free in the club mag and keep a close eye on the for sale ads as they do appear now and again. If you want used ones try Grublogger who have massive stock of seemingly everything.

Grublogger have some on their site at present but they do not upgrade the site to represent their actual stock, just give you an idea of typical items. Price is £80 - £120 each.

I have a 4 headlamp setup which you can have for £150 plus postage from Canada,(about £50)?

Don't think you need to worry re pre and post HE, all earlier headlights up to facelift should fit your car I believe. :)

keri,

I don't know if all pre-facelift headlights are exactly the same in terms of glass markings etc. It's your car and you can obviously do whatever you like to it. However, as your car is so significant, I'm sure most people would think that you should fit exactly the right original parts to it.

If you've still got the original lights, before you buy any replacements, it would be worth comparing them in real detail to other early headlights to understand if there were any minute changes at any stage in production.

Alternatively, if there are any changes in glass markings, perhaps you could carefully remove teh original glasses and mate them to replacement light shells.

Good luck

Paul

yes paul it appears my original light lenses have beam lines on the glass but there is a large area of glass that is clear this does not appear on he lights but i have only got 1 glass so if anyone has a light thats poor in condition but has an early glass i will buy it and try to remove glass to install to my car
thanks again paul
