My 1996 Celebration coupe has very poor illumination on the warning lights and radio.
Does anyone have a similar problem and can anything be done to rectify the problem?

My 1995 convertible is considerably better on both warning lights and radio and can be read easily.

The failure of lights on the radio buttons is very prevalent on the face-off Alpine units fitted to the very late XJSs. They all seem to fail over time. I'm trying to take one apart at present to understand how difficult it is to resolve the problem.

Other warning light illumination dimness is usually bulb erosion. most of them are fairly easy to change. a number of members have done led upgrades and similar. There's a number of threads on this if you use the search facility on the BB.

Good luck

Paul
