Indicator relay location ?

Hi all,
A new battery sorted the start issues, my last battery had dropped a cell so showing full but the minute tried to crank it died.
New Bosch now in the boot, one intermittent issue I had last year has now become more of a permanent issue.

All my indicators are now on, not flashing just solid on. All 6 of them. When cars running all 6 indicator lights are on, the stalk and hazard button don't change them. Engine off and back to ign on key and they all light up so assume they are now getting permanent power. Fuse 5 a 15a under dash is OK so thought would try the relay next.

It's an 85/86 xjs coupe v12 right hand drive.
Any help on location or advice on what it could be if not this ?

Hi John,

I had exactly this issue with my first XJ-S.

In the end the fault was with the hazard light switch. It was so long ago now that I can't remember how I worked it out, however it may have been as simple as a few presses of the button to clean a dirty contact.

Hi Simon,

Great tip much appreciated 10 minutes with a cup of tea and pressing the hazard button on/off followed by some very confusing looks from my wife and last night at least it seemed ok, started car up and indicator lights stayed off and hazard/turn signals worked great.

Will give it a run soon and fingers crossed as much as you can with any Lucas fix seems ok.
