Xjs pre facelift twin headlight wiring

Hi all I wonder if you could help.

I have recently fitted a pair of twin headlights to my Xjs. The old ones had gone brown and hazy inside so that was my excuse!

The headlights are in place and i am at a loss as to how to wire them. Do any companies offer a conversion kit, or does anyone on here know how I can wire from m6 standard loom?

Hi Henry,
Most conversion kits include the complete headlight assembly which includes a connector that allows you to plug the wiring directly to the existing loom. I'm not sure if the connector can be bought separately but it may be worth your while getting in touch with SNG Barratt by phone to have a word with them.

They should have come with a conversion loom as cubist suggests, that looks similar to this:



If the seller of your lights can't help, you may need to re-wire yourself. Shouldn't be too much of a problem.
