Headlamp Buzzer

Whilst peanut packets warning us that they "may contain nuts" is one of the less attractive aspects of our nanny state, I would welcome a "you've left your headlamps on" warning buzzer on my 1990 3.6.

Are there any kits or simple solutions out there?

about ten seconds after I have stopped the engine, I usually get some smart alec saying. ' Youve left your lights on', hence no need for a kit !!

Headlamp Buzzer

Dave

I fitted a small buzzer (from Maplin, 99p) and a diode in the drivers' door switch circuit on my SIII. Buzzer is powered off a spare tag on the dimmer rheostat which only has power when the lights are on. Diode prevents the buzzer sounding when other doors are opened or the courtesy lights are on via the switch.

Not as elegant as the chimes, but for under £1.50 it's OK.

Thanks; I'll give it a go; my dash light dimmer could do with replacing anyhow.
