Bolt/Nut Missing on Bracket

Postby wlynch » Sat Feb 13, 2016 12:24 pm

Hello,

Recently fitted original electric aerial to my 1990 coupe however I cannot secured it because a bolt/nut is required to hold it in place underneath the bracket.
Can someone please advise where I can purchase this item.

Many Thanks
Winston

Hi Winston

unfortunately the bolt/nut is not available separately as it comes as part of the aerial motor casing,

you may get lucky and find it in the bottom of the rear wing right under the aerial motor, i have found may things down there one wouldn't expect, lol

other than that i think a short 5mm or 6mm nut and bolt will do , the hex head of the bolt will go into the plastic moulding on the bottom of the aerial motor casing, and then this will slide into the slot of the mounting bracket with a nut and washer to tighten ,

these nuts and bolts can be got from halfords for pennies in small blister packs ,

hope this helps
