Hi
Just wondering if anyone knows the part number and where I can get the bulbs that light the trip computer on my 1992 facelift.
Cheers

MGJ,
Are you talking about the illumination on the display or the illumination of the buttons?

both as one of the display bulbs has blown and one half of the buttons aren't illuminated

MGJ,
The display bulbs are removable and should still be available from Jaguar for a few pounds. From memory, there used to be a problem with the parts catalogue and the part number quoted. I remember ordering one up with my dealer and, when comparing my old one with the new, discovered they were listing the wrong number. We then spent 10 minutes going through their system until we could work out the right number, but we got there in the end. My suggestion is to do this with your local dealer rather than ordering from Jaguar online, in case they still haven't updated the parts system (unlikely) and you have the same issue as did I. You'll also get a better price asking for some (JEC) discount with your dealer.
The button display is a different problem. There is a mini- bulb soldered into each end of the circuit board. So, you have to open the casing and carefully pull the circuit board then solder in new bulbs or take it to an auto-electrician or similar.
Hope that helps
Good luck
Paul
