I have a uk spec 1989 3.6 XJ-S.
Fuse 3 seemed fine, though I changed it but to no effect. I have had the ski slope off and ...sadly there seems to be no fuse under there (I had been advised there might be). I have taken off the aerial relay and got the aerial to go up and down, so I guess that works.
Help please!
Thanks

Re: radio and clock died
Hi Van - have you checked for power to the radio and clock units? Do you have power to the relevant fuse(s)?

Re: radio and clock died
Hi, yes there is power to fuse 3, which also is for the boot lights.

Re: radio and clock died
There seems to be no power to the clock or radio. electrics are not mu thing really...
Re: radio and clock died
There is at least one inline fuse but I can't remember where, might be behind the radio itself?
Electrics changed quite a bit around 88/89 when the Teeves brakes were introduced so don't necessarily take any wiring diagram you have too seriously.
Also after 30 years, it's possible that some diy changes may have been made
Is it an original radio and does everything else electrical work?
