My first sighting of a real, live Ronart at the VSCC meet at Snetterton on Sunday. What a great looking car, perhaps the owner would like to give us some details, it was a powder blue one.

Ronart have always been my favourite of the Jaguar kit derivatives. I think it's something to do with that vaguely Cooper-type look reminiscent of my 1950s scalextric cars!

Grublogger, a respected supplier of used parts, especially for XJSs, was first started after Graham broke a Jaguar to help build a Ronart and had some parts left over!

Let's hope the owner is a JEC member and updates his membership details accordingly.

That's a very cool car!

Is there a vario-roof option?

At a guess, I would assume that is a MB based question? I would suggest the answer is NO! but wouldn't it be good if it could be done.

I saw one of these so beautiful cars in Corrèze (France) this Week.
It's a LHD one and the owner built it imself. He told me that he built three Ronart for friends.
Next time i will take pictures.

Another Ronart spotted, this time for sale at www.totalheadturners.com Only 240 miles and priced at £39,995.00.
I wonder where it has been to have done so few miles?

Reg,

Perhaps the previous owner didn't like the wind-in-your-hair (bugs-in-your-teeth) motoring.

At least we can put the screen up and roof on when it rains. 8)

Roy,
As you well know, I don't have a problem with wind in the hair but ripples in the scalp do cause concern!!!!!

Ronart Spotted at the Spalding Classic car club annual classic drive end venue in Rockingham castle. The owner is not a member of the JEC but we had a good chat about membership.
The owner was one of those who went to Angouleme

Ronart have produced two cars using the Vanwall name (under license).

The first is a replica of the 1957 single-seater used by Moss & Brooks to with the British Grand Prix at Aintree. This car has a 2200cc 4-cylinder engine.

The second (shown below at a local car show) is a two-seater, with a Ferrari V12 4400cc engine.

It seems that this car may be intended to replace the Ronart W152.
