Series 2 Rear Parcel Shelf - Centre Fitment?

Hello, hopefully a simple question ...
I am refitting my Rear Parcel Shelf after 20 years and have lost all of my photos (and my memory) ... the two outer bolts that secure the parcel shelf are obvious, but the centre bolt, any spacers and the thin plastic rectangular object underneath - this is a mystery that is not covered in any parts manual that I have seen.
So, underneath the parcel shelf (centrally) and to the rear of the raised wooden and vinyl covered air circulation part, there is a thin plastic rectangular part similar to the lid of a box but with one end missing and with a hole for a bolt ... this plastic bit doesn't attach to the parcel shelf but could slide into the space under the raised air circulation bit - also, it looks as though it should bolt to the body of the car (under the parcel shelf). In addition, there must be a (missing) spacer of some description to fill the gap between car body and the underside of the parcel shelf?
Has anybody got any pictures to show how this plastic bit and any spacers are assembled and secured? Or, can anybody describe how this bit assembles?
I find the fact that there is a central securing bolt on the parcel shelf somewhat strange because I have not seen one in any parts manual or other persons car?

FWIW the parts book does show a single vertical bolt (BD48277/1) as well as the two outer seat belt fixing bolts. Since this rear parcel shelf/air extraction part of these cars is an area that only rarely needs to be taken apart, it would be helpful if you could post some pics of the pieces you're trying to identify. That may jog a few memories, like mine. Alternatively, drop an email directly to our Series XJ coordinator. His coupe restoration may still be underway which would enable him to comment how the parts are being assembled on his car. Mike.

However, with a bit thought, it becomes obvious because the plastic bit will only fit and align with the bolt-hole in one orientation ... the spacer (missing) could potentially be substituted with a piece of coolant hose of the correct diameter and cut to the right length?

Hello Mike,
I cannot identify BD48277/1 plus I cannot see 'how' it can be a bolt. The hole is not threaded and the rear side is of the hole is chamfered forwards - a bolt would not go into the hole ... it must be something else. Looks like the fitting for a shoe of some description where the toe would fit facing forwards - a bolt (or screw) might then engage into it.
Any further ideas?

Someone else (like our coordinator) must be retrimming a Series 2 and be able to clarify exactly what's below the parcel shelf trim. If it were easily accessible I'd remove mine to remind myself what's there. But the prospect of taking out the rear seat backrest isn't a 2 minute task on a coupe so I'm not volunteering! Is it even possible that some of the items in the pics relate to the vents in the rear bulkhead? E.g. https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.co ... index.html. Mike.

Hello Mike and thanks for the link to the parts catalogue.
Definitely not a bolt where I am in the process of making a shoe attached to a piece of coolant hose (of correct length) into which I can then insert one of those plastic fir-tree type fasteners to hold the rear of the parcel shelf down and in place. A bit Heath-Robinson but it looks as though it will work. Most technical bit will be to get the depth of the coolant hose correct.
Will show a picture when I get that far ... no, I am not going to patent it, lol.
