XJ6 Series 1 Steering Wheel v XJ6 Series 2 Steering Wheel

Good afternoon folks,

Has anyone in the Jaguar land changed a series 2 steering wheel for a series 1?

Is this a straight forward alteration or would the column, ignition, horn rod etc have to be altered?

Hi Ian....the upper splined shaft that goes into the wheel are different sizes.....7/8in on the S1 and 3/4in on the S2..... just with regards to the shaft it would be possible to weld 2 shafts together ..so use the top part of a S1 joined to the bottom of a S2....i am only talking about the upper splined shaft here that is around 8in long.....hope this helps
