Instrument rings

Is there anywhere I can get a new set of instrument rings for XJ6 series 1 (1972 build) ?

The meters' rings are rust pitted. And the speedo and rev counter although black are rust pitted too

Thanks for any pointers from those that've had to find a source already

Touched base with John Ostick at JDO. To save anyone else having to compile an order for XJ6 series 1 complete set from John's website (send him a pic of your dash to make sure you're getting the right bits) here's how my order panned out:
2 off JDO5S 5" ½ vee chrome @£14.95 each + sponge gasket @ 0.85p each = £31.60
1 off Kienzle clock bezel per pix @£10.95 second hand = £10.95
4 off JDO2S 2" ½ vee chrome @£ 4.95 each + sponge gasket @ 0.50p each = £21.80
1 off post & packing @£ 4.95 = £ 4.95
= £69.30
No VAT
The Kienzle clock ring will be a cleaned second hand one, no new stock

Ugh! The "before"

Just an update. The rings from JDO arrived. But the tangs that hold the meters in place in the dash are too
short for the ply that this dash is made from:

The longer tang ones are black. And I've seen series 1 dash pix with black rings. But JDO only have the chrome ones with shorter tang. So have cleaned as best as possible and re-sprayed. Could've had them chromed but that would've been £170 inc for the set. So will just have to claim "that's OEM, sir".

Were there black gauge rings supplied?
Perhaps in the days of the early series 1?

Chrome dial instrument surrounds were only fitted to early series 1 cars. The parts book shows three variations of the 5 unit panel casing. I suspect the first type may have been for chrome surrounds. The second and the third varieties were with black surrounds plus non reflective glasses for the instruments. These latter two only have different part numbers for the water temperature gauge. If I'm correct, that means chrome dial cars were made up to chassis numbers: 1G7414; 1G53725; 1L11097; 1L56176. Aha... so I wasn't losing it believing I'd seen black gauge rings... right, black it is and black goes back.
