2003 S-Type rear parcel shelf

Hallo all. I am new to the club, and the forum. I have all the parts to install the Alpine premium system, but I need to remove the parcel shelf to retro fit the woofers. Has anyone competed this? And what / how did they do it?
Present 2004 XJ6 Sovereign with all bells and whistles
