interesting to see 7th March Brooklands results. Could be convertibles are inflated????

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Interesting to note which ones didn't sell.

Ok...so are we assuming..logically..that the Dealers are putting huge mark-ups on good cars, not always with low miles, and artificially inflating the view that values are going up, whereas you, the seller, will not gain that figure it's purportedly selling at?? We know there is always variation ..but to what percentage??

Seems the best and only route is private, club or otherwise...or auction! That option will be risky, can't tow a vehicle as no trailer, and pay to have vehicle inspected there and then when you may not bid enough!! Quandary I think.

Glad I have time to think over steps to take!

Cheers,

Jon

If that convertible sold for £3200 I would say it was an exceptionally cheap car and someone got an absolute bargain!
That's not to say that dealer prices aren't hugely inflated, I could name a couple but probably best not to.....

:) I'm sure, Tony. I can just by spending the last 2-3 months looking!!

Yes, I think there are bargains..and there's a huge price variation too tp take into account! Serious thought, methinks!!
