this one looks to be in decent condition with just a few things to sort
unsure about the price for such a modified car

Very rare - I have only ever seen that red one on the XJS club stand at various events.
To be honest - each to their own and others will disagree - but I'm not really a fan of that nose job. So, as they say on DD - "I'm out"

Peasants and idiots the lot of you!
It is a thing of great beauty (apart from the steering wheel, that is exceptionally ghastly).
Am I the only one who can see where Jaguar (Ian Callum?) got the idea for the frontal presentation of the XK8/XK from?
The photos don't do it justice; I saw one at Autoclassico in Bristol a couple of years ago and even with 3 flat tyres it exuded presence.
Not the same 'in your face' as a Lister but certainly as wide at the back and the same 'yes it's me in your mirrors, get out of the sodding way' attitude.
I like it.
A lot.

I'm with you, Steve. I think it was one of the best-looking rebodying of an XJS. And so much cheaper than a Lister!
The MonaCo also worked better than the earlier Bailey design, IMO, because of the rounded style of the facelift rear lights.

Hmmm, not sure...me having only just appeared. You can, as you say, Paul, clearly see the XK8/XKR lines. So, lovely at the front. Too big waist back...and the tyres will be£££££!
My better half instructs me that the computer says 'NO!' Even if I could....
So rare..and at that price??? Thought it would be easy 5 figures!

Yeah, but look at the price difference though; the last one went for over 70 grand I seem to recall.

......but what is going on with that front wheel arch? Did they trace a cardboard profile from a front wing of a DB5?
