In recent weeks a number of non JEC members have joined this Forum and in general they are welcome.

However, quite a few of these individuals have listed websites in their profiles which are either salacious or contain viruses.

I have de-activated links to all websites of non JEC members, so that casual infection cannot happen, when looking at profiles or the memberlist.

Please be aware that these 'Guests' can still post links in the Guest Forum, so care should be taken when looking at that Forum.

Over the last six weeks the number of 'rogue' registrations by non-members has got out of hand.

For this reason the BB is now closed to non-members, and a large number of existing non-members' accounts have been deleted.

It is a sad reflection of the times, that this step has been necessary!

Why were NON MEMBERS allowed to join in the first place? I pay my subs to the JEC every year and consider this forum part of what I pay for.

If NON MEMBERS were allowed on here, I'd like a refund of a percentage of my JEC membership fee. I don't get this forum for free.

As you can see from the dates on Webman's post this all happened over two years ago.....and you joined four years ago so you must have been a Member at the time.......

It's ancient history now.
