Have a look at this advert on ebay:

This is classic - apart from the dubious alloy wheels thrown in with the deal and the generous patter - what about the AJ16 engine: I don't think so!
This should be used in a seminar to show what to avoid! Note the chrome wheel arches - anything to hide there I wonder?
I have a 95 celebration and it is showing enough problems - broken evaporator, rust around the windscreen, rust in the floor (now repaired), cracked exhaust manifold, slight weep in the head gasket, knackered radiator, leaking gear box seal - good knows what I have yet to discover!
I love the car - I bought it because it is a manual but I knew then it would have some problems...perhaps a few more than expected but that is the point. These cars need a lot of TLC - if you are buying and unable to repair them yourselves you must take someone along who knows them inside out.
You have to admire this guy - I bet he sleeps comfortably at night!
I apologise now if this is one of you from the forum but I am sure this is unlikely!
Caveat Emptor!
