How to make a 'gentlemans racing carrage' ;)

Those of you who are interested in racing might like to look at the September edition of Classics Monthly, which comes out in August (never understood that about publishing dates, why don’t they call it the August edition? And why does a ‘monthly’ have 13 issues per year? Funny old world).
In it is my first ever attempt at journalism, with a drastically cut down version of how I went about building my XJ-S racer. I started off with the intention of doing just one race and then selling the car, but I seem to be hooked now, it’s such an enjoyable drive and I even use the racer as my daily transport!
Unfortunately, between leaving my computer and getting into print, a few errors have crept in. I like to think of it as a ‘spot the difference’ type challenge; always look on the bright side.
It’s a two part article, part one covers buying and building it, part two (which I have almost finished writing) covers racing and improvements, this will be in the October edition, which presumably comes out in September!
Hope fully the car and I will be at Littlecote enjoying more sunshine.
Tally Ho!

....and part two is out, which is marginally less bad! ;)
