Deepest sympathies, that sucks big time.
Hopefully insurance will cover the financial loss but that is no recompense for the loss of personal items.
At least nobody was hurt physically.

Vince - horrible thing to happen and not easy to live with afterwards. I hope the lowlife involved gets caught and gets what's coming to him.
It's not easy, but try not to let it get to you.
On a more uplifting note - how's the gearbox coming on?

Argh that's miserable. My wife had the same a few years back before we were together and she said it takes a bit of time but she did get past it, with the help of security lights and an alarm. You have our sympathy!

as Gisela and I have sampled the hospitality of you and your wife we both send our sympathy at this time. First the garage and bikes, now this, we feel for you both. These people have no respect for others, and we hope they are caught and made to pay for their actions.

Really sorry to hear that Vince. Half the battle is trying to get back into a normal routine after this sort of stressful event. I hope that things can be fast tracked with the insurance co / adjusters.

Would it distract you from the current situation if I mentioned that I am replacing my GM400TH with a Getrag 265 ?

Feel for you - what a traumatic and frustrating experience. Frustrating because you are unable to take the necessary retribution measures personally when the identity of the criminal is discovered without yourself becoming one. We keep getting signs that things are going our way politically about this,and there has been some progress, but still a long way to go.

well, insurance has been sorted, as well as a new window on the way where they broke in , no hassles so far, and our claim has been approved

time to put it behind us and not let the feckers win............
