XJS Mudflaps and Fuel Gauge problems

Dear All
I am new to this sort of thing (Forums) I normally surf the web for Jaguar
technical sites for information. But a friend of mine recommended this site
as a possible place to get information from other XJS owners who may be
able to help.
I have recently purchased a XJS 4.0 Convertible and am trying to obtain a
set of Front and Rear Jaguar XJS Mudflaps. As the car was manufactured in 1993 and the Mudflaps are no longer made I have been unable to find a set. If anyone knows where I could obtain a set I would be much obliged.
I also have a small problem with the Fuel Gauge/or Fuel Tank. When turning around a Right hand bend the Fuel gauge goes to E and the Fuel light comes on for a second, the gauge then returns to the normal position. When turning around a Left corner the Fuel gauge indicates an increase in the fuel level, and then returns to normal when the road is straight. Does anybody know if this is normal or is there a remedy. It seems unlikely that Jaguar would let this happen in such a luxury car.
I look forward to any help with these matters.
