keri,

Well done! It's a VERY long time since I saw the paintwork on JVC 810N looking so good!

Good luck with the rest of the restoration!

keri,

Remember that to be completely authentic, you will need to also have the plates "JVC 810P" & "JVC 810S". This is because Jaguar just touched up the brochure cover photo to read JVC 810P for the next years brochure! They also touched up the photos of your car to read JVC 810S for some of the photos in the original 1975 brochure!

Seeing your pics has made me go and dig out the original brochure (which I haven't looked at for about 10 years). See pics below of your car (including one with the swapped plates):

It's not clear whether the engine bay pic is from your car, or from the one in the brochure with the French plate 160 W 64.

(Addendum: You're right, keri! The commission number stamped on the RH inner wing confirms the engine bay is your car!)

Jaguar were prone to playing with both plates and photos as 160 W 64 is both LHD & RHD in different pics in the brochure! I've also often wondered if the RHD 160 W 64 is actually JVC 810N?

It will be great to see the finished car and how close it now compares to all the original brochure pics of it!
