500 mile check

well, even i am surprised, i have done just under 500 miles in my XJS since putting her back on the road after 12 years
so , i decided to give her a check to make sure everything was ok underneath
I took of the front wheels tonight and checked all the joints and brakes etc, and everything is perfect, , even wear on the discs, no nasty rubbing anywhere , spotted a little bit of undersell that had blistered off, so scraped that back and sprayed on some new black waxoyle , this was only about 25mm long by 4mm wide , but hit it now and it wont turn into something nasty or bigger ,
Had a rattle on the steering rack heat shield on the off side, so a small adjustment ( bent it by hand ) and now no rattle , so happy with that
even wear on tyres and no rubbing ,
all in all a good result
