how do i put this

,
it took me eight years of blood sweat and tears ( lots of tears , lol or was that lots of beer ? )
working in a domestic garage, nose up against the underside of the car for any works required , rebuild front and rear suspension , a multitude of new and reworked panels ,
rebuilt brakes , etc etc from a person with no formal mechanical training..........................
and they only go and give it a clean bill of health with no advisories at all ,
emissions were really low , brakes nearly ripped the tyres from the wheels , and all the lights work ( well , it is a Jag )
best £27.53 i ever spent , lol

Excellent, well done.
That was quite cheap for an MOT, I am sure I paid more for mine last year.

Used Halfords three times now myself. Very good too. Recommended.
One has to book online to get the half price deal. £27.42p. A "book a slot" facility is available when you fill in the online form and pay in advance with a card.

Vince,
Great news! Makes the restoration now "finished"!
Really interested as to how you'll now feel about driving the car. Will be it only on warm dry days , avoiding dirty roads and any traffic, keeping below 50mph and then, once home, cleaned within an inch of its life and carefully pushed into the garage? Or will it be driven as Jaguar intended?
Interested as one day (after over 24 years!) my TR6 will eventually get finished and I hate the idea that I might end up being too worried about getting a stone chip to actually drive it and bring back the grin it gave me in my 20s!
