Postby oldwrek » Sun Feb 05, 2006 11:08 pm

I am looking for an early series one XJS. Would consider either restored, original or in need of restoration. It has to be unmolested and complete. can be contacted via e mail .. andrew.honychurch@btinternet.com I would be most grateful for any help finding one. Thx

If you don't mind a bit of hard graft, this one looks right up your street. It'll go for peanuts as well. Pre HE V12? You must be crackers!!

It was meant as a joke, hence the laughing smiley. The pre HE is renowned for its thirst and now with petrol at £5 per gallon I am surprised that anyone can afford to consider an early car.

Oh, well yes I suppose its madness from that point of view I just like the early cars, but then I also love the later ones! Nevertheless if I can find a nice early one I will give it a go!
