How to post pictures!

As an IT numpty I was shown how to do this by the other club I'm a member of. Didn't know if it would help anyone out there.
1. Post pictures on the Web either in your own website or by using any one of the many photo sharing sites out there. I use http://www.flickr.com/, However there are other sites:- imageshack.us amongst others (I'm sure any search engine will throw up loads).
2. in your Post click the img button then paste in the URL of the picture off the website/ photo sharing site. Close the item by clicking the img button again.
ie.
htttp\\.website.combmp12345.url.
When you submit the post the picture will appear.
Make sure:-
1.you click the img button in the right place to get the brackets the right way around
2.You use the correct URL
