took a sharp knife to the leather........

but not in my car.........

there are a couple of scrapper XJ6's round here, and they are sovereign spec , mechanically knackered, but the leather on the seat facing is perfect

so , with a bargain modification in mind i cut out the largest of the panels, these are the side bolsters to the front and back seat( drivers seat excluded due to wear )

these bits of foam backed Doeskin coloured leather are perfect for re-trimming the A and B pillar vinyl sections from my own XJS , these are old and damaged, but the frame is pressed metal, and perfect for refurbishment

this means i will have matching leather pillar trims instead of vinyl , for just a bit of spray glue and a little elbow grease , lol

How much did you pay for your leather?
I am surprised your local scrapper let you do that!
Most scrap yard would want you to buy the whole seat, if your going to do that, as the seats are useless/worthless afterwards.
