Not to everybodies taste

Thought I would post a few pics of the finished car as I have been driving it over the summer. Colour scheme is not to the purist taste but I grew up watching the touring cars so wanted something similar and I know it won't please the bolt polishers but the aim was for me to own a rust free fully rebuilt XJS which is maybe a little different which I could drive for pleasure

She's not perfect but it was my first full restoration (why pick an XJS
) and I learnt loads on the way (especially about British engineering in the 80's
). Over 8 years the paintwork got slightly damaged in areas (small dinks etc when stowed if I was working away) but I'm fairly pleased with the outcome.
Jobs to do:-
Get the AC working.
Get the ECU fettled by AJ6 engineering to fully cure the rich running
Sort out the hot start problem (maybe there on that one).
Re-do the wood as it has started to crack already (Oh well you learn as you go!!)
Hopefully see some fellow club members around when I am out and about
