XJS MANUAL GEARBOX

Hello all, my question is.
Can any of the XJS manual gearboxes be fitted to the earlier XK 4.2 engine. ( non XJS owner ).
Changing bell-housing and prop shaft accepted as par for the course.
If XJS box suits what alterations are required ie which clutch set up, spigot shaft compatibility etc.
Reason for asking is do not like auto and want a 5 speed ( JAGUAR ) box.
£2k + conversions outside budget.
