Firstly, one of my old school friends who has always admired my XJ-S asked me to help him find a good one for him to use as his every-day transport. We decided that a 4.0L facelift was the car for him and set about finding one.
In the end Pistonheads came up with a lovely 1994 Moroccan Red Facelift with 112k on the clock, full service history and very tidy bodywork indeed and we're off to Peterborough later in the week to pick it up.
Secondly, another one of my school friends (who borrowed my Daimler XJ40 some time ago) asked for help in sourcing a good Jag saloon, and this weekend we picked up a 1994 Daimler 4.0 XJ40 with 88k and FJSH for him. Two grand buys a surprising amount of Jag these days!
