Coincidentally, I watched the video this morning. Having seen the beast in the flesh prior to its formal announcement, I can say that I'd love that engine in my XJ coupe! However, the car is more than a modified XJS. The suspension is completely different (just as well with all that horsepower) and the exterior is largely carbon fibre. The interior looks good too. The big question is, are there enough people willing to part with around £300K+ for an updated 70's lookalike? Mike.

Considering most professionally built resto mods go for £500k+ this looks relatively good value ?? I mean a Singer 911 starts at around £ 1.5M, the Totem Automobili’s Giulia GT is around £800K, but still so expensive, too expensive for me.

It is good value, for a restomod, but it's not to my taste. Too much of everything.

Can understand that, personally I always liked the Konig XJS, but then I am of that era...
