well i made a start on the jalopy today.

rubbed down and filled a few small rust spots on the front wings.
stripped the rotten headlining out.
stripped the carpets out and found a hole in the drivers foot well.
ripped the front bumper off as well.

next job is to repair the front of the crossmember as the spoiler belly pan kept the water in contact with the steel. >:(

well after a full day farting about i have finally repaired both lower rear quarters.

a bit of stone chip and we are done.

the rear end is completed.

next we turn it round and get on with the front.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm a few holes in the drivers foor.
Though the inner sill is fine, phew.
The outer sill has gone at the rear as has the radius arm mount.

Passenger side sill and floor is perfect.
All the rot seems to be on the drivers side, must have sat some where bad.

i still have masses to do on the jag, but being semi retired on medicaol grounds does have it's benefits,lots of time. mind yoy the weather has not been good the last week, so i have not got very much done at all.

well today i cut the front off.

and repaired the front crossmember.

front end is finaly done and back together.

i know it needs paint but thats for after it has been mot'd.

well today i cut out and welded up the rusty rear bumper.

a quick coat of black paint and away we go.
still need to finish bolting them on and wiring up the fog lights.

one more step towards it's mot.

rear bumper is all n and the fog lights are now working.

re fitted the wipers and got them all working as well.

back to the front now.
need to fix the indicators and fit some spots.

then its back to finish off the last of the welding, some new tyres and it's mot time.
bet it fails on something.
