Speed/Cruise Control Fix...

Just in case anybody has the same fault I thought I'd post this:
I stored my car for 18 months and after I got it going again the cruise control did not work any more. I spoke to Chris at KWE and he said that it was caused by the fact that the rubber bellows were no longer airtight, meaning that the vacuum was leaking.
His fix was to remove the bellows, disassemble them, clean the metal plates at either end and then silicone seal the bellows to them at either end.
It took about 30 minutes in total and I can now report that the speed control is working as it should.
This relates to the early kind of bellows - it's a rubber cylinder about 10mm in diameter with a steel plate at either end, one has two air valves attached, the other end is attached to a cable.
