Can anyone help with advice as to where I can source new/renovated boot badges for my 1994 XJS V12 please? Nearly all the chrome/silver finish has worn away and new badges would really 'spruce things up'! Thanks in advance. Trevby

Hi Trevby
A warm welcome to the XJS Bulletin Board.
As with many parts a visit to Jaguar Classic Parts site as a first port of call (linked from this site above) can be productive........

I think that this is for the correct model year. Only the Jaguar badge is shown as available (priced), but I have seen the XJS badge this year on the Forum stand, Norman Hicks will know where that came from. Perhaps the Classic Parts website needs updating?
Best Wishes and keep posting

I've recently been able to get the Jaguar and XJS badges but not the V12. Seems like this has gone for the time being. I've left them all off for now and got to quite like the anonymity.

I purchased all my brake raplacement parts from these guys.

2 months ago I picked up all the badges for the boot lid from my main dealer. They initially said not available but on further digging they found them.
Unless I got the last ones of course! Try Barratts in Canterbury or I could try and get them for you and mail them on.
Kevin.

I'm tempted to buy a replacement XJS badge... what adhesive would you recommend using to attach it to the car?

all modern badges use a thin foam double sided sticky tape known as
' trim-tape '
new Jaguar badges will come with this already fixed and laser cut to fit the shape,
used badges will require some skill with a craft knife and some scissors to fit some tape to the back, i would not recommend the use of any other kind of adhesive
