Does anyone know anything about this car? Seller says a well renowned Jaguar specialist near Bristol has said it's a perfect car but won't tell me who. It's a long way for me to go to check it out and something just doesn't seem right. Apparently only has 38000 miles.

Could be these guys, the only one I know of near Bristol.

Looking at the MOT history it is far short of perfect unless a lot of work has been done recently.

You could use the MOT website info and quiz the seller?

Biggest well-renowned Jaguar specialist near Bristol - Swallows? They used to run an inspection service. I used them 16 years ago and they were good then!

I called Swallows yesterday and they said they'd never seen the car.

If the vendor won't tell you who it is or show you a formal report, I think I'd take everything said with a pinch of salt and do all your own checks etc or get an inspection undertaken if you don't feel as knowledgeable.
